We said goodbye to many fellow travelers at breakfast in the morning and then returned to the Tokyo National Museum, which had four more buildings of exhibits. We spent most of the time in the galleries that contained traditional Japanese paintings. This took us all day, and we returned home for a little Sumo before heading to my birthday dinner (yeah – 75!) at Dante’s Teppanyaki. It wasn’t as good as Misono’s, but it was also half the price. Two Japanese women shared our table of four and we communicated as well as we could with them and our chef. I thought it was an absolutely perfect birthday!
